Shipping Information

Delivery Time / ETA

We try to fill your order within one to two days upon receiving payment. We use FedEx as our primary delivery service, but other carriers may be requested. Although we try to honor your requests, we do reserve the right to change the freight carrier if needed.

Free Freight Shipments

Some products do feature free shipping. In cases where free shipping is an option, it is based on FedEx ground shipping rates within the contiguous United States. Expedited delivery is still an option with free shipping, but you must pay the difference in cost.

International Shipments

Many of our products can be shipped outside the United States, but can incur additional costs and delays. Pool Zone Direct is not responsible for any delays, duty feeds, import fees, customs and other charges imposed by countries outside the U.S. We do, however, try to make sure your transaction is smooth and easy. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding international shipping.

Pallet Fees

Some products, damaged easily in shipping, may need to be shipped on a pallet. An additional pallet fee may be incurred in these circumstances. Products requiring a pallet will be listed on the product’s Web page if applicable.

Some of our customers do not want to pay a pallet fee. In these situations a signed waiver may be used absolving Pool Zone Direct from any and all liability regarding shipping. Orders waiving the pallet fee must be pre-paid via bank wire transfer.

Shipping Charges & Rates

Every order shipping from Pool Zone Direct will be charged an appropriate shipping fee. Some orders may incur a shipping surcharge. Orders weighing more than 150 pounds will be quoted and shipped on the least expensive freight truck available, unless requested otherwise.

Freight Trucks & Common Carriers

Many products, including heavy and delicate items, may not be able to ship via UPS or FedEx. In these cases we have identified these products and have posted notices on the particular product’s Web page. Unless requested otherwise, we will ship the best way (i.e., the least expensive common carrier for the value) that we can find.

Surcharges

A surcharge to cover miscellaneous shipping, handling, and insurance charges may be added to your shipping cost.

Important Shipping Information

• DO NOT sign the delivery receipt until you have had a chance to thoroughly inspect the item for damage.
• We ship products from our warehouse in good condition. If for any reason you sign for a package without proper inspection, we cannot accept responsibility for the goods.
• Do not limit your ability to collect damage claims. Refuse shipment or make exceptions such as: "Subject to Inspection." This MUST be noted on driver's paperwork.
