- Base Unit: It is the central processing unit of the system. It turns on and off the ID tags, while sending a home address to them. When the Base Unit receives the signal from an ID Tag with its home address and Supervised code, it sets off the alarm.
- ID Tags: It consists of a portable device strapped to each child's ankle, a similar one for each adult or supervisor. Once they are turned on, they transmit a signal to the Base Unit specifying weather they are supervisor or supervised units.
